• Navigation on an interactive map displaying existing collection points across the country.
• Ability to assess, provide suggestions, and report issues encountered with collection facilities you regularly use.
• Tracking your evaluations and reports within your user profile for personal monitoring.
• Option to add new collection points for recycling, donation, or reuse of waste not currently included in the application.
• Access to statistical data on recycling activities.

Wasteapp is a project initiated by Quercus, developed in collaboration with Sociedade Ponto Verde and Fundação Vodafone. Its primary aim is to inform citizens about the most sustainable disposal methods for various types of waste generated in daily life.

The platform consolidates information on collection points nationwide, including eco-points, oleões, electronic equipment drop-off locations, reuse initiatives, and municipal services. It actively collaborates with organizations managing waste in Portugal—both public and private—to empower citizens as active participants in waste management within their communities and neighborhoods.
